Langue française - App Review
Langue française is a free Android app developed by JKarDev. It falls under the Lifestyle category and aims to enable users to activate all supported Samsung French languages and keyboard inputs on their smartphones with ease.
The app works without any intervention from the user, but after the new Jelly Bean 4.2 update, the protection level definition of CHANGE_CONFIGURATION has been changed, and users have to allow the CHANGE_CONFIGURATION manually. However, users can download and grant permission manually using the adb command of Android development tools by connecting their smartphone to their laptop with a cable.
Starting from Android 7 Nougat, the application will request a new permission required to write system settings. Unfortunately, some device variants (US, Chinese) remove all unused languages, and there is not much the app can do in this case. The developers request users to contact them if they need any help.
